BED FORMER CULTIRATEAU   What is a Cultirateau ?   It is a tool used to prepare specific soil for vegetable growing. It is used immediately after ploughing and makes it  possible to prepare a seedbed or flat-lands planting . Technical description :    The Cultirateau is composed of : • a cutter shaft with blades that turns in the same direction as the moving tractor • a rear rake with teeth that turns in the opposite direction The front rotor (cutter shaft) pulverizes the soil without smoothing out the bottom thanks to the shallow incline of the blades. The rear rotor (rake) breaks up the clods, rakes off, levels and caps the soil. All SIMON rakes are equipped with a control mechanism (Patent) to prevent the tray from collapsing in the center. Advantages : • Making a bed in one pass • Work between the tractor wheels so no risk of planting or sowing where the tractor has passed • Seedbed scientifically structured, that is : On the surface of the bed, fine and aerated soil Underneath, progressively small, then medium and finally big clods Such a structure makes for : • good filtration of rainwater • controlled level of wetness • early shooting • uniform growth • high productivity		STONE-BURYING COULTER CULTIGRILLE   What is a Cultigrille ? It is a machine designed to till the soil as far down as 30 cm, which in one pass buries stones and crop residue and makes a bed. Technical description:   The Cultigrille is equipped with : • two concave coulters that create the step • a rotary cultivator that pulverizes the soil • a double grate system that catches coarse elements and them deposits them at the bottom of the bed and covers them with fine earth • a packer roller Advantages : • makes it possible to work immediately after ploughing or harvesting • buries stones • buries crop residue (leaves, roots) • obviates resorting to a rock remover • makes a seedbed for direct seeding • traces the beds
CULTIBECHE   What is a Cultibêche ?  Designed to till the soil as far down as 35 cm depending on the models, this machine replaces ploughing and is especially adapted to vegetable crops. Technical description: The Cultibêche is composed of a set of spades (4 to 10 depending on the width and the model) and operates according to the principle of a manual spade : introduce the spades alternately into the soil, clear the clods and put them towards the rear. On contact, a header or rake causes them to be shredded and levelled. The machine is driven by the power take-off of the tractor. Advantages : The cultibêche makes it possible to : • avoid ploughing • eliminate the pressure pan. • bury residue • till the soil at a depth of 20 to 35 cm • maintain organic matter on the surface • facilitate aeration and drainage of the soil • limit erosion and unevenness of terrain • work on slopes • work quickly with the Cultirateau or the Cultigrille Standard equipment : • Power take-off 540 rpm • 4-speed gearbox • Adjustment of depth of work by runners, • clod-breaking header             WEEDER What is a Weeder ? Machine designed in order to take out all weeds and avoiding any chemicals weed killers. It permites as well a good soil aeration.
